The next generation of checkout

During my 2 1/2 years on the Point of Sale design team, my co-workers and I collaborated with product & engineering to create a fully Walmart-owned & branded checkout platform. One that would be recognizable to customers and smart enough to work on any hardware.

We focused on it being quick and hassle-free for busy customers, while designing for the robust, intuitive functionality associates need when offering assistance.

“Convenient, easy … checkout and go, simple.”

“That was seamless, easy. It did not ask me any excess questions.”
